What gets assessed
Stage 01
Python Coding Examination
Written questions plus live coding — data structures, OOP, clean code.
Stage 02
Backend Examination
A practical Django / DRF task — models, APIs, authentication.
Stage 03
Frontend Examination
A practical React task — components, state, API integration.
Stage 04
Git/GitHub Practical
A real repository, a real branch, a real pull request and review.
Stage 05
Docker/Deployment Practical
Containerise and deploy an application to a live environment.
Stage 06
Final Project
The capstone application built across all 8 weeks, evaluated as a whole.
Stage 07
Technical Viva
An oral defense of every architectural and engineering decision made in the final project.
Certificate
Certificate of Completion / Assessment
Issued after all seven stages are complete, including the final project and technical viva. Zerobug is a software engineering and technical training program — this certificate is not a government-recognised or accredited qualification.
